Hello!
I am a published romantic suspense author who writes about strong willed women, the men who love them, and the long and (usually) dangerous road they travel to get their HEA.
I am currently the VP of Operations (a fancy way to say Secretary) for Cascadia Author's Guild, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting any and all human authors.

My Story
I was born and raised in southern Oregon. I wrote my first story when I was in third grade about a magic cello. (I played for 5 years.) My family moved to Portland so I could attend college, and it was there that my best friend/roommate spent many late nights writing silly, ridiculously over the top stories on her electric typewriter. During my junior year of college I got the first ideas for my FMC in The Asset, though the story wouldn't come to life for a very long time.
I currently live in Seattle, and when I'm not writing I love photography, taking care of our family of rescues, and annoying my teenaged sons.

Statement on AI Usage
Simply put, I do not support the use of generative AI. Period. As a writer who is married to a photographer and musician, my family has a lot to lose from the theft of our intellectual property thanks to AI. An anti-AI training clause is in the copyright statement of all my books, and all of my book covers were created by me. I do not knowingly post AI images on my social media, and beg my followers to please advise me if they ever discover such an image on my account. I do not support other creatives, venues, or events that use or promote the use of generative AI in their marketing materials.
